The 2014 Chambolle Musigny, which includes the domaine's 0.07 hectares pocket in Sentiers and includes around 20% new oak, has a crisp, airy, fresh strawberry and Morello-scented bouquet. The palate is well balanced with good weight for a village cru, with the fruit a little dark here with black plum and a touch of cassis, as well as a little roundeur towards the finish -- completing a very commendable Chambolle village.
Lots of grunt, and acidity. Not a bad price at all. Depends on your affection for this producer.
