Cask sample. Very heavy bottle (not sure of the weight but it is unnecessary)! Has the typical acidity and lime-zest profile of Aligoté. Freshness on the palate. Not hugely complex but nice drive here. (AWH)
Cool and overtly spicy aromas speak mostly of Granny Smith apple, petrol and citrus rind. The sleek and delicious if not especially dense flavors flash evident minerality on the clean dry and agreeably refreshing finale. To enjoy young.
Bottled just before the harvest. A lime tint to the pale colour, with a fresh lime blossom nose as well. Fresh on the palate, medium concentration, this same lime note continues on through. Appetising. An aperitif more than a food Aligoté. Drink from 2024-2026.
