The 2019 Saint-Aubin l'Ebaupin is showing well, mingling aromas of pear, mandarin oil, peach, white flowers and nutmeg in an expressive mélange. Medium to full-bodied, layered and mineral, its fleshy core of fruit segues into a saline, mineral finish. Like all the Lamy-Caillat 2019s, I suspect it will pick up additional tension during another winter on the lees.
Pale lemon and lime. This is classical St-Aubin on the nose, tense lemon in the mouth with a little bit of white fruit. This has held together very well and has a long way to go. Excellent for vines only planted in 2015.
