A slightly riper nose combines notes of plum, black cherry, spice and more subtle earth nuances along with a floral top note. The generously proportioned, plump and highly seductive middleweight flavors possess an abundance of sappy dry extract while the strikingly long finish is also shaped by dense but fine-grained tannins on the superbly long, balanced and lightly stony finish. This is also stunningly good and a wine that should be more approachable young compared to the Chambertin.
