Exhibiting aromas of citrus oil, white flowers and crisp green apple framed by hints of nutmeg, minty and barrel spices, Moreau's 2021 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with racy acids and a vanillin-inflected finish. It's the one négociant cuvée he retained in 2021, producing only one barrel.
Clear bright pale colour. The nose shows some stones, and also the barrel. Quite a weight of fruit. Sound personality. Light sandalwood finish, and holds on very well.
